Market context

The product entered an established live-streaming market where creators and viewers already had strong habits around existing platforms.

Product complexity

Profiles, subscriptions, premium content, reactions, payments, and transactions had to work as one coherent experience.

My scope

Within a three-designer team, I focused on profiles, monetization, transaction flows, and design-system consistency across interconnected product areas.

From insight to decision

Different creator identities needed flexible profiles

Insight

Creators needed different identity, content, and monetization setups, but separate profile flows would fragment the product.

Decision

Working with the product team, I helped define a flexible profile model that reused the same structure while adapting to different creator setups.

Creator earnings needed to be transparent

Insight

Revenue could come from subscriptions, premium streams, reactions, shop-related payments, and other paid interactions.

Decision

I consolidated balances, payments received, and transactions into one model organized by source, status, and amount.

A large mobile product needed shared patterns

Insight

More than 500 interconnected screens and three designers made local, feature-specific solutions difficult to maintain consistently.

Decision

I maintained the design system with the Design Lead, reused existing patterns across product areas, and introduced new components when they supported multiple flows.
